BIOGRAPHY
Bryant Weinberg Jones is Chief Impact Officer at EdLoC where he is responsible for EdLoC’s mission-driven investment strategy. Bryant began his career in public education as a Match Corps Fellow at Match Charter Middle School in Boston, MA. Since then, he has supported the growth of high-performing schools in leadership roles for statewide policy initiatives in Rhode Island and Louisiana. He has also done this work in philanthropy as a Program Officer at the Fidelity Foundations and as the founding Chief Investment Officer for Boston Schools Fund. Most recently, Bryant leveraged his deep experience in public education as an independent consultant, specializing in strategic planning, operations, and financial management. Bryant holds an M.P.A. from the Kennedy School at Harvard, an M.A. in Urban Education Policy from Brown University, and a B.A. in English from Harvard College. He also volunteers on the boards of Onward, Boston Preparatory Charter School, and Montessori Community School of Rhode Island. Bryant grew up in Longview, TX, a rural town in northeast Texas. He lives in Providence, RI with his wife, Rebecca, and dog, Max.
