Carlos Marquez is the founder and principal of CM3 Advocacy, LLC. Previously, he served as senior vice president of Government Affairs at the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA), where he managed the organization’s legislative and regulatory priorities on behalf of over 1,200 charter public schools. Carlos brought a unique blend of experiences to CCSA in the areas of government relations, public affairs, and nonprofit management. Over the last decade, Carlos has served in a variety of capacities advancing the missions and advocacy goals of national progressive organizations that include the American Civil Liberties Union, United Way Worldwide, Service Employees International Union, and the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund.
