BIOGRAPHY

Darien E. Nolin is the vice president of Internal and External Affairs at Total Health Care, Inc. a community health center serving nearly 30,000 moderate to low-income patients in the Baltimore, MD metropolitan area. As Vice President of Internal & External Affairs, Darien provides strategic leadership, vision, and management in the initiation, execution of Total Health Care’s mission driven community engagement, and internal development efforts related to addressing community health disparities and health equity. Previous nonprofit management roles include Managing Director of Operations for Lee Montessori Public Charter Schools of Washington, D.C., and associate director of Finance and Operations for Bard College’s Early College Network. Darien has over 15 years of both private and nonprofit experience, allowing him to develop strengths in the areas of process improvement and strategic change while establishing strong, lasting relationships. His career began with the United States General Services Administration, before transitioning to international multimedia company Discovery Communications followed by consulting through Education Pioneers Graduate fellowship as an outsourced finance director. Darien has a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins’ Carey School of Business
