BIOGRAPHY

DeRonda Williams is the founder and president of DGW Consulting Group (DGWCG). DGWCG provides executive recruiting services to identify and attract diverse talent, specializing in placing CFO and COO professionals nationwide. The company also provides project management services to support organizations deliver on strategic initiatives. The firm is a certified minority business enterprise (MBE). DeRonda Williams has over 20 years of business experience across multiple industries. For five years, she served as finance director for the KIPP Foundation. Prior to joining KIPP, DeRonda spent over ten years at Pearson Education as Vice President, Finance for the K-12 and college divisions. She also has prior experience in manufacturing, where she worked as an industrial engineer for Olin Corporation. In 2013, DeRonda was appointed to the Illinois State Charter School Commission, where she is one of nine commissioners and serves as the commission chair. DeRonda is actively involved as a volunteer and board member with several community organizations. She has a BS in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. DeRonda is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow, 2018 summer. DeRonda currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband and three children.
