Emmile Brack serves as the Vice President of Operations at Aspire Public Schools. She leads the Godzilla team, which delivers process improvement and data and technology solutions, as well as the Strategy and Operations team, which provides operational support to all Aspire schools, facilitates charter petition and compliance efforts, and supports new market/growth strategy development. She also serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO, focused on the effectiveness of Aspire’s senior leadership team and Board of Directors. Prior to this role, Emmile served as Vice President of Technology, completing the restructuring of the Information Technology department and improving support and customer service. She joined Aspire in 2008 as a project manager leading multiple needs assessments and projects to improve data quality and implement new technologies. Prior to joining Aspire, Emmile spent five years with various consulting firms, including Arthur Andersen, BearingPoint, and KPMG Consulting, focused primarily on finance and operations processes and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. For about a year, she worked at Equinix, a data center and colocation services company, supporting the integration of finance processes and systems of a newly acquired company. Emmile holds a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from The George Washington University. She grew up in Sacramento, California and currently lives in Oakland, California with her husband, Jonathan, and daughter, Layla.
