Dr. Gonzalo S. La Cava is a seasoned public education leader with more than 25 years of experience improving student outcomes and organizational performance in large, urban school systems. He currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Fulton County Schools in Georgia, supporting over 17,000 employees. Previously, he held senior HR and district leadership roles in Palm Beach County and Fulton County Schools, where he led talent, student support, and school improvement initiatives. His work has been recognized by Education Week, the Florida Governor’s Sterling Award for excellence, and the White House as a Champion of Change. He holds degrees from the University of Central Florida, including a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
