As a Partner at Charter School Growth Fund, Rich Billings supports charter schools across the country to ensure that finance, facilities, and governance are not barriers to their growth and success. Before joining CSGF, Rich was the CFO of Rocketship Education and the Co-Founder and Board Chair of Launchpad Development Company, Rocketship’s real estate development subsidiary. In this role, he oversaw Rocketship's nonacademic functions as the organization grew from one to seven schools and began its national expansion.

Prior to his role at Rocketship, Rich was the Director of Finance and Strategic Planning at Envision Schools, where he managed their finance and accounting team, and led strategy and expansion efforts. Rich began his career as an economic consultant to Fortune 500 energy companies and spent two years as a high school math teacher and soccer coach. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in Mathematical Economics from Haverford College, and he is a graduate of the Broad Residency Program and the Education Pioneers Fellowship.
