Terry Ryan serves as CEO of the Boise-based education nonprofit Bluum (www.bluum.org). He leads Idaho’s “20 in 10” Initiative, which seeks to, “close the gap between mediocrity and excellence in college and career readiness by creating 20,000 new, high performing charter seats in 10-years.” From 2001 to 2013, he served as vice-president for Ohio programs and policy at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute in Dayton, Ohio. He has co-authored two books on education- Ohio’s Education Reform Challenges: Lessons from the Frontlines (Palgrave Macmillan) in 2010 and The Unfinished Revolution: Learning, Human Behavior, Community, and Political Paradox (ASCD Press) in 2001.
