Job Title: Emerging Leaders Program – Campus Leadership Residency
Location: Port Arthur, Houston, or Beaumont, TX | Onsite
Organization: Bob Hope School
Description:
The Emerging Leaders Program – Campus Leadership Residency at Bob Hope School is a structured, multi-phase leadership development pathway designed to prepare high-potential educators for future campus leadership roles. Serving over 2,500 students across Southeast Texas, Bob Hope School is a growing charter network focused on academic excellence, dual-language immersion, and community impact.
This 2–3 year program provides hands-on, residency-based experience in instructional leadership, campus operations, staff supervision, and student culture. Participants receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback while building the skills necessary to become Assistant Campus Directors or Campus Directors.
The program includes two phases. Phase I (Behavioral Coordinator/Parent Liaison) is a 12-month entry point focused on developing foundational leadership skills through work in student behavior systems, family engagement, and campus culture. This phase is designed for candidates who are still working toward certification or advanced credentials.
Phase II (Assistant Campus Director/Campus Director Residency) is an advanced leadership experience for candidates with a master’s degree and instructional leadership background. Participants take on more direct leadership responsibilities, including coaching teachers, leading instructional improvement efforts, and supporting campus operations and decision-making.
Throughout the program, participants are expected to earn required certifications, including Texas Teaching and Principal Certification. Advancement is based on demonstrated performance and readiness.
This program is ideal for educators with a strong track record of student achievement, a commitment to collaborative leadership, and a passion for building positive, student-centered school communities.
