Job Title: Chief Talent Officer

Description: We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven people leader to serve as our Chief Talent Officer (CTO) and lead the strategic vision to build an outstanding talent function to support Freedom Prep’s mission. The CTO will be responsible for developing and executing our recruitment and human capital strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. The CTO will have experience leading in the areas of talent recruitment, talent management, change management, succession planning, organizational and performance management, training and development, and equitable compensation.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Talent Officer works directly with the executive leadership team to provide strategic leadership for talent acquisition needs and performance management. The CTO is directly responsible for the strategic and tactical oversight of all aspects of talent work and will lead a five-person team. The CTO will be data-driven, a strong people connector, a champion of equity, and will have demonstrated success in leading talent teams at the senior leadership level.
*** This position is full-time, with a preference for candidates located in Memphis, TN. For remote leaders located outside of Memphis, monthly travel (3 days minimum) to Freedom Prep is expected.
Salary: The salary range varies for this position, commensurate with experience and expertise.
