THE ROLE. We are seeking more wayfinders. Rallying them. Fueling them to shape this emerging world and guide us through its unfamiliar terrain. Wend team members work in a variety of impact areas (e.g. youth development, arts, sustainability, Indigenous Peoples, democracy), each using their unique perspectives and talents to wayfind for a better world.
We seek people that are eager to use their knowledge, skills, passions, purpose and values to support team member experience and nurture an inclusive culture. The Human Resources Business Partner will support Wend’s mission by collaborating with team members to research, support, design, and implement equitable hiring practices, organizational policies, benefits administration, and compliance efforts.
THE PERSON. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will join a team, called the People and Culture Team, which aims to foster conditions for a healthy, equitable and safe environment. The People and Culture team does not currently include a dedicated full-time HR lead; it currently engages with HR consultants who provide support across a variety of activities. The HRBP position is intended to manage the HR function as the number and diversity of the organization grows. The HRBP will both have the opportunity to create foundational people processes and supports and implement/manage those processes and supports.
Salary: $160,000 - $190,000
