Founded in 2008, Achievement First (AF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that supports 41 public charter schools across New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Regional Executive Director – New York will oversee K-12 programs across 24 schools in Brooklyn and Queens, ensuring strong academic outcomes for students and supportive school environments. The Regional Executive Director will complement the existing presence in New York and work closely with the network and programs team to deliver on the priorities of the strategic plan. The person in this role will lead a high-performing team, including 3-5 direct reports, dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences for every student.
The salary for this key leadership position is competitive, and set at $218,926.05. Must reside in New York and be able to travel to the schools in the New York area. Occasional travel to meetings in Connecticut and Rhode Island may be required.
