Job Title: Senior Director, Strategic Advocacy

Description: The Education Trust—West is seeking its *first* Senior Director of Strategic Advocacy (Location Flexible to Bay Area/Sacramento). The Senior Director will work closely with the Executive Director to set the vision and strategic direction for ETW’s advocacy agenda, manage four critical teams - Government Relations, P-12 policy, Higher Ed policy, and Partnerships and Engagement, and will ensure collaboration across teams. The Senior Director will lead the collective team's accountability for measuring success and impact of its policy priorities and related campaigns. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience leading organizational strategy ideally around education equity as a senior nonprofit leader, has expertise in managing and coaching cross-functional teams, and deep expertise actionizing and operationalizing policy, data, and advocacy processes.
