Anokhi Saraiya is an education consultant and senior education leader focused on strategic planning, school design and improvement, systems building, and talent development. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in public education, she partners with schools, districts, networks, and education organizations to develop strategies and build sustainable systems that strengthen leadership, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive meaningful outcomes for students.

Prior to transitioning to consulting, Anokhi served as Chief Academic Officer of KIPP North Carolina Public Schools, a network of public K–12 charter schools serving rural and urban communities across North Carolina. During her tenure, she helped lead the merger of KIPP Charlotte and KIPP Eastern North Carolina into a unified statewide organization and drove an aligned teaching and learning vision serving more than 3,000 students and 400 staff across eight campuses.

Anokhi spent 17 years with the KIPP organization, serving as a teacher, school principal, and regional leader in both New York City and North Carolina. In 2011, she founded KIPP Washington Heights Elementary School, the first elementary charter school in Washington Heights, New York City. Prior to joining KIPP, Anokhi began her career in New York City public schools as a teacher and instructional coach at PS 8M in Washington Heights.

Throughout her career, Anokhi has focused on translating ambitious visions into practical, scalable systems that enable schools and leaders to thrive. She is deeply committed to ensuring that all students have access to excellent educational experiences filled with “a-ha” moments of learning that lead to choice, opportunity, independence, and empowerment.

Anokhi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Education from Bryn Mawr College, a Master of Science in Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a Master of Education in Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
