BIOGRAPHY

Becky leads a consulting practice connecting people, ideas, and resources to impact our most complex social challenges in order to create more just, thriving, and sustainable communities. She's passionate about mobilizing donors and leaders across sectors and perspectives to join forces and tackle major social challenges with bold creativity while bringing her depth as a former CEO to predict and solve problems before they occur. Until January 2022, Becky served as President and CEO of Clayton Early Learning. Prior to Clayton, she served as a Fellow on the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s Education team, responsible for grant making, strategy, and research focused on human capital and whole child development. Prior to that, Becky was a partner with Bellwether Education Partners where she launched the talent advising practice and co-authored the Unrealized Impact report on diversity, equity, and inclusion in education organizations. She has spent more than 20 years leading education reform efforts as a social entrepreneur and education and philanthropy advisor. Becky served as executive director of Partners in School Innovation in San Francisco from 2003-2009. During her tenure, Partners doubled in size and became the key school improvement partner to the largest urban districts in the Bay Area. Prior to joining Partners, Becky was responsible for leadership development of school and district leaders from 30 districts at the Bay Area School Reform Collaborative. Becky has additional experience leading program evaluations as a researcher at Stanford University. Becky has degrees in english, education, and business from Stanford University and was a 2010 Sloan Fellow. She is the proud mom of Mason who is her favorite for Colorado mountain adventure partner.
