BIOGRAPHY
Christine DeLeon is a seasoned executive leader, founder, and philanthropic advisor with a strong track record of supporting organizations through startup, growth, and strategic transition. As Principal of CDL Consulting, Christine has partnered with education nonprofits and philanthropic organizations to support leaders through pivotal moments of growth and transition. Drawing on a blend of strategic advising, facilitation, coaching, and research, she has helped organizations articulate a clearer vision for the future and develop actionable plans to achieve it. She previously served as CEO of the Wend Collective, where she oversaw strategy, impact, and operations for James Walton’s philanthropic fund. Christine is also the founder of Moonshot edVentures, a nationally recognized nonprofit that supports underrepresented leaders to launch community-driven education schools and programs. Her earlier career includes launching Education Pioneers’ first year-long fellowship and holding leadership roles at The Broad Foundation, Education Cities, Denver Public Schools, and The Boston Consulting Group. She holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an EdLD from Harvard, where she was also a Harvard Innovation Lab Fellow. Christine is known for helping leaders move from vision to action—whether developing bold strategic plans (as she recently did with LearnerStudio), scaling national initiatives (like the Summit–Facebook partnership that grew to 136 schools in four months), or facilitating breakthrough leadership growth. Her approach is grounded in equity, systems transformation, and the belief that great leadership unlocks lasting impact. Christine enjoys running, yoga, and time with her sons, Emmett and Aidan, and husband, Ian.
