I am honored to serve as the school president and CEO of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy. I believe deeply in the potential of every student that walks through our door – in Christ’s love for them and in each student’s ability to achieve their highest potential. It is a privilege to be part of the journey to grow their hearts, minds and bodies to unleash that potential. Prior to joining Aug Prep, I served as the co-founder and executive director of Schools That Can Milwaukee (now City Forward Collective) for eight years. While there, our team worked with more than 250 leaders from MPS, charter and private schools to help transform K-12 education in Milwaukee. Previously, I have worked with two national education foundations, the Doris & Donald Fisher Fund and the Eli & Edyth Broad Foundation. I earned my master’s degree in education and an MBA from Stanford University, and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. I served on the board of trustees and chair for the academic excellence committee for Alverno College from 2008-2021 and currently serve on the board of directors of Aug Prep and Husco. I live in the Milwaukee area with my husband Omar and our two daughters, Page and Emma – both of whom are proud Lions at Aug Prep! I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, working out, reading, and cooking.
