April Chou is a Managing Director of Jasper Ridge Partners where she leads the team that focuses on philanthropic and impact advisory services. Prior to joining Jasper Ridge, April served in executive leadership roles at OneTen Coalition, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, KIPP Northern California Public Schools, and NewSchools Venture Fund. She has advised prominent families and foundations on their philanthropy and served as an executive coach to foundation and social sector CEOs. April began her career with McKinsey & Company, working with clients in the US, China, and Singapore.

April currently serves as a trustee of the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation and Western Governors University. She is a moderator for the Aspen Institute, a Pahara Institute Fellow, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, and an alumna of Leadership San Francisco. April lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two sons. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, a Masters in Education from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
