BIOGRAPHY
Carl Zaragoza is a social impact executive raising a new network of civic leaders focused on building educational opportunity for all children. Leveraging his expertise in candidate recruitment, political management, public policy, and leadership development, Carl has inspired and supported hundreds of diverse leaders to engage in the political process and drive meaningful change. Professionally, Carl serves on the executive leadership team of Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE). He is responsible for inspiring LEE members to run for and win elected office. In addition to his work with LEE, Carl co-founded School Board Partners. Carl is a former middle school teacher and was elected twice to the Creighton School District Governing Board in Arizona. Carl is a Teach For America alumnus and United States Army veteran. He is also a serial 140.6-mile Ironman triathlon finisher. Carl earned his M.B.A. from the W.P. Carey School of Business and a B.A. in political science from Arizona State University. He also completed the Master of Arts Program in Middle East Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Carl is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Carl lives in Oregon with his family and two rescue dogs.
