Cristina is the descendant of Vincent, Esther, Angelica and David, who immigrated from Monterrey, Mexico to northern Indiana. She is a daughter, sister, tía and friend, as well as an athlete, book enthusiast, chef and dog mom. Her area of work expertise is facilitating spaces for growth and learning and merging strategy with human–centered decision–making. She is most passionate about supporting connections where they may not be obvious–there is always more we can learn, more we can build on and more we can celebrate. Cristina's personal north star is made up of her values: empathy, joy and curiosity. She aims to center these in her day‑to‑day, and when she cannot, help them ground her in reflection on and understanding of the possibilities in the next day. She serves on the board of Valor Collegiate Academies and lives in Nashville, TN with her husband Tony and dog Lincoln.
