BIOGRAPHY
Jon Clark is the co-director of the Brooke Charter School Network, a network of three Boston charter schools serving 1,500 students in grades K-8. Brooke Schools rank consistently among the top schools in Massachusetts. Jon was the winner of the Boston Foundation’s 2015 Pozen Prize for Charter Schools and New School Venture Fund’s 2014 City Fund Impact Award. Jon was the founding principal of the original Brooke Charter School, which opened in 2002. He is the Vice Chair for Advocacy of the Boston Charter Alliance and serves on the steering committee of the Boston Compact. Prior to Brooke, he was a founding teacher and math department chair at Boston Collegiate Charter School, and a 1992 corps member with Teach for America in New Orleans. He holds a B.A. from Oberlin College. Jon is married to Kimberly Steadman, the other Brooke Co-Director, and they live with their three kids in Boston.
