Foundation for Excellence in Education
Patricia Levesque is the chief executive officer of the Foundation for Excellence in Education, a public policy organization working to improve the quality of our nation’s education systems. She is also Executive Director of the Foundation for Florida’s Future and ExcelinEd in Action - education advocacy organizations. All Foundations are not-for-profit and were founded by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
Prior to her leadership of these foundations, Ms. Levesque served as deputy chief of staff for Governor Bush beginning in October 2003. In this capacity she oversaw state agencies responsible for education as well as other government services. Previously, she served six years in the Florida Legislature on education policy.
She and her husband George have a son, Luke, and a daughter, Isabella.
