Brandon Cummings serves as the Deputy Chief of Leadership Development for the School District of Philadelphia. In this role, he plays a significant part in advancing equity-centered leadership, supervising the district’s leadership pipeline programming, and facilitating professional development for the district’s school based leadership.
He has been particularly involved in supporting racial affinity groups for leaders, helping to create spaces for meaningful dialogue and professional support. His approach provides organizational support while allowing participants to direct their own conversations and address systemic challenges in education.
