BIOGRAPHY
Brittney is the Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Preparatory School, an urban K-12 public charter school located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, serving more than 1,200 students. Her role focuses on acquiring the resources needed to provide the best quality academic and enrichment experiences for the community Atlas serves. She joined Atlas in 2012, as the director of community programs, after working at El Pomar Foundation for two years implementing private grantmaking programs. She is passionate about working in the community she grew up in, in a role focused on supporting families accessing quality educational opportunities for their children. In addition to career pursuits, Brittney is an active volunteer with Lasagna Love and board member on the Penrose St. Francis Hospital Foundation. Her past experiences also include working for the United States Olympic Committee for the 2010 Vancouver Games, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer and working as a Spanish translator. She graduated from Colorado College as a first-generation, minority student with a degree in Psychology and Spanish and completed her master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado.
