BIOGRAPHY
Caroline Roemer is the Executive Director of the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools. Born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana on a cotton and soybean farm, Roemer left Louisiana in 1991 to work around the country on political campaigns, eventually founding her own consulting firm, Roemer Bell, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Clients have included mayors, congressmen, governors and Fortune 500 companies. However, her Louisiana roots run deep and she made the decision to return to her home state following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. With more than 30 years of experience organizing, developing and managing corporate and political communications strategies and public policy initiatives, Roemer has led the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools to be recognized as a leading voice for K-12 education in Louisiana. Roemer currently resides in Baton Rouge with her son, Owen. They share their home with Jazz their rescue pup, and China Cat that adopted them during COVID. When not working or going to soccer games, you can find Caroline at the end of a fishing rod in the Louisiana Marsh.
