Carolyn Hack is currently the President of KIPP NYC. Over the past 20 years, Carolyn has served in many leadership positions in charter school sector including chief executive officer at Aspire Public Schools and the chief financial and operating officer for Uncommon Schools. Hack is a 2005 graduate of Columbia Business School, where she was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and was awarded the faculty-bestowed prize for Nonprofit and Public Management. Prior to business school, Hack taught high school mathematics and coached basketball and soccer for five years in Northern California. She received her BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and her MA from Stanford University's School of Education.
