Carrie is the CoS to the USP President and Director of US Programs at the Gates Foundation, where she leads strategy, planning and management for the 7 domestic strategies of the foundation, including K-12, early learning, post secondary and economic opportunity. Most recently, Carrie was the co-Founder and co-CEO of School Board Partners, and Carrie was previously a teacher, school leader, and district and CMO executive. Carrie has been twice elected to the Bend-La Pine School Board in Oregon and served as the Board Chair throughout the pandemic and a superintendent search. Carrie also owns three small businesses and lives in Bend with her husband and two school-aged daughters. Carrie holds a bachelor's degree in teaching and an MBA in finance and strategy.
