BIOGRAPHY
Chaka Booker is the chief people officer for The Broad Foundation and Family Office, which supports public education, medical research, arts, workforce development and the overall impact of billionaire philanthropist Eli Broad. Prior to this role, Chaka was managing director for The Broad Center, a national organization focused on leadership development. While there, he lead multiple teams and oversaw the organization's transition from Los Angeles to the Yale School of Management via a $100M grant from The Broad Foundation. Chaka is a Forbes contributor on leadership and entrepreneurship and is on the board of directors for Renaissance Learning and Kinvolved. He is also the author of two books; The Empowered Candidate: The Power You Have to Land the Job You Deserve and Mastering The Hire: 12 Strategies to Improve Your Odds of Finding the Best Hire (HarperCollins). He has degrees in economics and psychology from UCLA and an MBA from Stanford University.
