BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Christina M. Kishimoto is the founder and CEO of Voice4Equity LLC, a national organization focused on education policy leadership, technology innovations and culturally responsive strategies. Dr. Kishimoto is also a Clinical Professor of Education at the USC Rossier School of Education doctoral program teaching courses on race, power and leadership. Prior to founding Voice4Equity, Christina served as State Superintendent of Education in Hawaii and on Governor David Ige’s Cabinet. She also served as district Superintendent for the Hartford Public Schools (CT) and for the Gilbert Public Schools (AZ).
A native of the South Bronx in New York City, she is a bold advocate for social justice and a national leader on education policy and equity matters.
