De-Lea serves as a strategic thought partner and confidante to senior leaders and executives through the coaching and consulting company that she founded, Higher Bar Leadership, LLC. De-Lea brings over 20 years of leadership experience to her coaching, facilitation, and equity-centered strategic advising. De-Lea was the founding Chief Equity Officer that led Race, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) work at Achievement First for eight years, serving over 15,000 students across 40 schools. In that role, De-Lea effectively partnered with senior leaders to center racial equity in principal pipeline practices, senior leader hiring and selection, leadership development, performance management, curriculum, student experience, core values, and organizational culture with a strong track record of impact. Her work in the design and implementation of leadership systems that center equity is nationally recognized, and places her as a sought after advisor.
