BIOGRAPHY

Diane Robinson is filmmaker, education consultant, writer and leadership coach. She is a movement builder who has traveled and worked extensively in the US and globally to launch and scale high performing social enterprises like Teach For America, the KIPP Foundation, Teach For All and Global Nomads Group. She founded Yard Girl Productions in 2019 to develop and produce social impact films. Diane brings decades of experience working on the front lines of social change and is a believer in the power of film to change mindsets and behavior in our society. Her first film, The Young Vote, premiered at the American Black Film Festival in 2022 and went on to screen on the film festival circuit before securing educational distribution with Video Project. Any K-12 public, private, middle or high school and college can now license the film to use in their social studies and civics curriculum for young people. Diane is now working on her second documentary film.
