BIOGRAPHY
Diane Tavenner is the Co-founder and CEO of Futre.me. Futre is a technology platform helping young people to successfully launch fulfilling lives by guiding them to discover, explore and act. Prior, she was the co-founder and CEO of Summit Public Schools, a nationally-recognized nonprofit school system that earned many accolades and distinctions, most notably America’s Best High Schools from US News and World Report, America’s Most Challenging High Schools by the Washington Post and one of the world’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Education from Fast Company.
Diane is the author of Prepared: What Kids Need for a Fulfilled Life and she co-hosts the podcast, Class Disrupted, with Michael Horn.
She serves as the Board Chairperson for the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, the Pahara Institute, and Minerva University. She is a board member at Transcend Education and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) moderator corp.
Diane holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Southern California and has a master’s degree in administration and policy analysis from Stanford University.
