Dr. Eddie Ruiz is the Florida State Superintendent for Charter Schools USA (CSUSA), managing a network of 67 schools that proudly serves over 66,000 students and nearly 5,800 CSUSA team members.
Dr. Ruiz is a visionary education leader and advocate for student success. With a deep commitment to providing high-quality education and empowering students to achieve their full potential, Dr. Ruiz has dedicated his career to transforming educational opportunities for ALL children across the state.
With a wealth of experience in education leadership, Eddie brings a strategic and innovative approach to his role as State Superintendent. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, fostering strong partnerships with educators, parents, and community stakeholders to drive positive change in the education system.

Dr. Ruiz holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.
