BIOGRAPHY

Manny Sanchez is a community-centered education leader who serves as Executive Director of the Lindsay Educational Foundation for Learning (LEFL), providing strategic leadership to expand opportunity, persistence, and long-term success for learners and families in Lindsay, California and beyond. He believes that a strong public education ecosystem, intentional community investment, and civic engagement is one of the most powerful drivers of individual and generational success.
Manny’s leadership is deeply rooted in lived experience. Raised in a low-income agricultural community, he is the youngest of five brothers and the first in his family to attend college. Going through school and college without much guidance showed Manny that talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t, and that it’s up to leaders to remove barriers and create real paths forward for others.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Business Management from California State University, Fresno, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. Manny also holds a California Administrative Services Credential and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; has completed leadership coursework through VitalSmarts; holds certificates through FranklinCovey; and an advanced certificate in Fundraising Management through the Lily Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Before leading LEFL, Manny spent two decades in public education, where he served as a K-8 Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean, and Learning Facilitator across Lindsay Unified School District (LUSD). He has been recognized as Administrator and Teacher of the Year in both LUSD and Visalia Unified. He is frequently invited to serve as a keynote and inspirational speaker for youth and community organizations across the Central Valley.
Through the PAHARA Fellowship, he values the chance to learn with and from other leaders and continue growing in ways that help him better serve the communities he cares about.
