BIOGRAPHY
Erin McMahon is a coach with Springpoint, the TLM Fellowship in Massachusetts. Prior to this she was the Managing Director of the National Student Support Accelerator at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education, the Superintendent of Saugus Public Schools, a school district in Massachusetts, and a Senior Advisor to the Massachusetts state commissioner of education. Erin came to MA after serving as CAO at both the KIPP Foundation and Denver Public Schools. At DPS Erin co-led a district-wide early literacy strategy which resulted in the highest early literacy growth in DPS history. Prior to joining DPS, Erin led the turnaround of The Henry Street School for International Studies, a six to 12th-grade secondary school, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Erin started her career in education at an elementary school in Washington, D.C. through Teach For America. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Yale University, a Master of Science in Education Leadership from Pace University, a MBA from Cornell, and is currently pursuing an EdD at Boston College.
