BIOGRAPHY

Jennifer is the Chief Executive Officer of Great MN Schools, a non-profit organization working to ensure that all Minneapolis students attend a great school that prepares them to thrive in their lives, careers, and communities. Jennifer was previously the Executive Director of Talent Management at Denver Public Schools, where she oversaw the district’s human capital strategies for teachers and principals.

She was a founding Vice President & Partner at the Charter School Growth Fund, a national venture philanthropy organization designed to provide financial and strategic resources to replicate high-quality charter schools serving students who experience poverty. Jennifer transitioned into the field of education through a position at the NYC Department of Education in 2004.

Prior to working in education, Jennifer spent several years at American Express, where she started in strategic venture capital before leading small business loyalty and acquisition marketing. She began her career at Bain & Company, a top strategy consulting firm. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pomona College and a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School.
