The Neurodiversity Alliance
BIOGRAPHY
Jesse Sanchez is president of The Neurodiversity Alliance, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering neurodivergent students through mentorship, leadership development, advocacy, and postsecondary pathways. Jesse is the intended successor to the organization’s founder and is leading its next chapter of growth, including program expansion, fundraising strategy, and national partnerships.
Prior to returning to the nonprofit sector, Jesse built a career in SaaS sales and account management, where he specialized in relationship-driven growth, complex stakeholder engagement, and long-term client strategy. His experience in the private sector continues to inform his approach to nonprofit leadership, blending operational rigor with mission-driven impact.
Jesse’s connection to The Neurodiversity Alliance began as a community college transfer student at the University of California, Berkeley, where he became involved in what was then Eye to Eye. His lived experience as a neurodivergent student navigating academic, personal, and systemic barriers shapes his leadership and public voice today. Jesse is a national speaker on neurodiversity, educational access, and leadership development and has presented to educators, nonprofit leaders, and students across the country, including at TEDxWIS.
In addition to his executive leadership, Jesse is committed to building bridges across ideological and cultural divides, positioning neurodiversity as a unifying framework rather than a partisan cause. He lives on the Hudson River with his spouse and three children.
