John Carwell Jr. is an education leader with over 20 years of experience, working to ensure that every student has access to a high-quality education. John has been with the Delaware Department of Education?s Charter School Office since 2010. Prior to joining the Delaware Department of Education, John held leadership roles in philanthropy, public and private education, and the federal government's executive and legislative branches. In 2020, John discovered his passion for executive coaching. John earned his master?s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor?s degree from Delaware State University.
