Jon Rybka is the chief executive officer of RePublic Schools, a network of seven non-profit charter schools in Nashville, TN and Jackson, MS with 3,500 students. During his leadership, RePublic has added schools/students and increased academic performance by collaborating with stakeholders on a clear definition of who we are and why we do this work.

Prior to leading RePublic, Jon was a teacher and administrator in both traditional district and charter schools. He also worked on policy and advocacy at the Children’s Defense Fund, and investing in systems of schools in increasing the footprint of great schools at the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. All of his professional experiences are fueled by his commitment that all children deserve a healthy start in life regardless of circumstances. Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts at Denison University and Master of Arts in education at Wake Forest University.
