Kalila Hoggard, Chief People & Equity Officer, originally joined DREAM in 2014. Kalila leads the People & Equity function in the organization, ensuring DREAM attracts, grows and retains high performing talent. Kalila brings a people and values centered approach to work, ensuring staff, families, and students experience the unique culture of DREAM.

Previously at DREAM, Kalila designed and oversaw the implementation and integration of SEL programming in the organization’s Whole Child Model. She also previously led the organization’s Out of School Time Program Team (afterschool and Summer), Social-Emotional Learning, College Success, and Health and Wellness Programs, as the Managing Director of Programs.

Kalila is a graduate from Columbia University and Teach for America Alum. Kalila also holds a master’s degree in Childhood Education.
