Kalila Hoggard, Chief People & Equity Officer, originally joined DREAM in 2014. While at DREAM, Kalila designed and oversaw the implementation and integration of SEL programming in the organization’s Whole Child Model. She also previously led the organization’s Out of School Time Program Team (afterschool and Summer), Social-Emotional Learning, College Success, and Health and Wellness Programs, as the Managing Director of Programs. Kalila now leads the talent function in the organization, ensuring DREAM attracts, grows and retains high performing talent.

After graduating from Columbia University, Kalila joined Teach for America New York and taught 3rd grade in the South Bronx. While teaching, Kalila pursued a master’s degree in Childhood Education.
