Katherine Hendrickson is the Chief Strategy Officer for Caliber Public Schools, based in Richmond, California. At Caliber, Katherine serves as Chief of Staff for the network office, overseeing strategic and long-term planning and progress monitoring. She oversees Caliber’s work in authorizer relations, communications, advocacy, and expanded learning. She is a founding board member of the Contra Costa County Charter Coalition.

While serving as the Academic Dean at Leadership Public Schools in Richmond, California, the academic program was recognized by US News and World Report to be among the nation’s top 1% of public high schools. She began her career at the Denver School of Science and Technology, one of Colorado’s top public high schools for traditionally underserved students. At DSST, Katherine’s students earned the highest AP scores in the city multiple years in a row.

She holds an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado – Denver and an MA in Policy and Organizational Leadership from Stanford University.
