BIOGRAPHY
Lariely García is an accomplished educational leader with nearly two decades of experience strengthening instructional excellence, bilingual education, and school leadership across the United States and internationally. She currently serves as a regional director for One World Network of Schools, where she drives organizational strategy, instructional leadership development, and school improvement efforts across the United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, the United Kingdom, and South Sudan, partnering with leaders to strengthen systems and deliver meaningful academic gains.
In this role, she also advises chief academic officers, leads school quality reviews, and co-designs professional development for teachers and school leaders.
Lariely previously served as the founding principal of KIPP: Freedom Middle School in the Bronx, where she developed the school’s instructional, cultural, and operational vision from inception through full growth. Under her leadership, the school implemented inclusive, equity-centered practices; strengthened teacher development systems; and built a staff culture rooted in belonging, advocacy, and high expectations. Earlier in her career, Lariely served as dean of teaching and learning and as a dual language teacher in public charter schools in New York City.
A Dominican immigrant raised in Washington Heights, Lariely attended the Trinity School in New York City on a full scholarship and went on to become a first-generation college graduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts in American studies from Yale University and a Master of Science in education from Bank Street College.
Lariely is a co-founder of the National Dominican Student Conference and has been recognized with a proclamation from the New York State Assembly for her leadership in the Bronx community. A Prep for Prep alumna, she is also the proud mom of two children, who keep her grounded in joy, purpose, and the work of educational transformation.
