BIOGRAPHY

Louise is the Co-Founder of Peer Health Exchange, an organization that builds healthier communities with young people. Together, they create education opportunities for peers to share the tools and resources young people need to make healthy decisions. PHE has served 200,000 young people since 2003 and has just launched selfsea, a digital community by young people for young people. As an undergrad at Yale, Louise co-founded and directed the pilot program that inspired Peer Health Exchange in response to a call to action from New Haven high school students. Louise is a Pahara Fellow and an Ashoka Fellow. She is honored to serve as the Board Chair for I AM ALS, a patient-driven movement to cure ALS and serve as a model for other rare disease. Louise graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History. She lives in SF with her husband and three sons.
