BIOGRAPHY

Marlon Marshall is the CEO of City Fund, a nonprofit that partners with local leaders to create innovative public school systems. He joined the City Fund in 2019 from 270 Strategies, where he was a founding partner. Public service is at the core of who Marlon is, as evidenced by his time on electoral campaigns and in the Federal Government. In 2015, he was Director of States and Political Engagement for Hillary for America. Prior to that, he served as Special Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy Director in the Obama White House Office of Public Engagement and on President Obama's re-election campaign as Deputy National Field Director. Marlon hails from St. Louis, Missouri, is a graduate of the University of Kansas and received his Masters in Policy Management from Georgetown University. He is a die-hard fan of his Kansas Jayhawks and of the St. Louis Cardinals, and now lives in Denver with his wife Stacy and their six year old twin daughters.
