Mayra Valle’s passion for expanding college access stems from her personal educational journey. As the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college graduate, she understands the challenges underrepresented students face in navigating higher education firsthand. With the support of full scholarships, including the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship, Mayra earned her Bachelor's degree from Connecticut College and her Master's degree from Texas A&M University.

Driven by a mission to affirm student identities and create accessible pathways to higher education, Mayra has dedicated over a decade to empowering students and educators alike. Nearly 90% of Mayra's students receive full financial coverage towards their college education, which amounts to between $3-4 million in gift aid for her annual cohorts. Her journey from student advocate to leader in the education consulting space has equipped her with a deep understanding of how to drive meaningful impact for underrepresented communities. She advises many first-generation, bilingual, mixed-status, and often low-income families who are often underrepresented in the college admissions process.

She has worked for trailblazing organizations like the Posse Foundation and the EMERGE Fellowship to support diverse students excel within the selective admissions process. There, she has refined her craft of facilitation and leadership.

Today, as the founder of Mayra V Strategy| Powered by Valle Conmigo LLC, she partners with schools, school districts, companies, and organizations to deliver customized workshops, curriculum packages, and education consulting services. She has worked with organizations like OneGoal, Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, and Education is Freedom, ensuring that students and educators are equipped to excel!
