BIOGRAPHY
Michael C. Carbone is the Chief Schools Officer at Seton Education Partners and leads the Brilla Public Charter Schools initiatives. With a background as Deputy Chief of Secondary Schools at Uplift Education, he spearheaded the International-Baccalaureate-for-All model in Dallas/Fort Worth, overseeing the 26 middle schools and high schools. Previously, he was the founding Chief Academic Officer at Brilla Schools, boosting them into the top 5 of achievement for similar populations in the state.
A former science teacher turned school leader in both traditional public schools and charter schools, Carbone has been nationally recognized for his leadership, contributed significantly to educational programs, and held various prestigious positions, including hosting the Science and Engineering Program for Teachers at MIT and teaching graduate courses at the University of Saint Joseph. Carbone also currently practices as a leadership coach and mentor for aspiring and executive leaders. Holding degrees from the University of South Florida and the University of Saint Joseph, and a leadership certification from Harvard, he enjoys golf, reading, travel, and serving in his local church community in Dallas with his family.
