BIOGRAPHY

Oliver Sicat is a distinguished CEO, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the Co-Founder of Ednovate and OpenSeat; two organizations focused on transforming high school education and supporting student wellness. Ednovate, a high school charter management organization founded in partnership with the University of Southern California (USC), is dedicated to making high-quality education accessible to all students and changing how we measure high school success. OpenSeat is a virtual mental wellness coaching platform that provides schools with increased capacity to offer diverse 1:1 wellness coaching to students nationwide. Oliver has served in various executive K-12 leadership roles, including Chief Portfolio Officer in the Chicago Public Schools system, Founding Principal of UIC College Prep with the Noble Network of Charter Schools, and was recognized as the Boston Public Schools Teacher of the Year in 2006. In 2001, he founded Emagine, a college preparatory non-profit in Roxbury, MA. Oliver holds degrees from USC and Harvard University and has been recognized as a Pahara-Aspen Fellow and Broad Academy Fellow at Yale School of Management. He is a husband, father of three, marathon runner, TEDx speaker, average golfer, and a retired nacho blogger.
