BIOGRAPHY
Oliver Sicat is a distinguished CEO, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ednovate and Co-Founder of OpenSeat, two innovative organizations focused on transforming high school education and supporting student wellness. Ednovate, a high school charter management organization founded in partnership with the University of Southern California (USC), is dedicated to making high-quality education accessible to all students and changing the way we measure high school success. OpenSeat is a virtual mental wellness coaching platform that provides schools with increased capacity to offer 1:1 wellness coaching to students nationwide. Oliver has a distinguished career in education, having served in various leadership roles, including Chief Portfolio Officer in the Chicago Public Schools system, Founding Principal of UIC College Prep with the Noble Network of Charter Schools, and recognized as the Boston Public Schools Teacher of the Year in 2006. He is also the founder of Emagine, a college preparatory non-profit. Oliver holds degrees from USC and Harvard University and has been recognized as a Pahara-Aspen Fellow and Broad Academy Fellow at Yale School of Management. He is a husband, father of three, accomplished marathon runner, TEDx speaker, average golfer, and even a retired nacho blogger. Oliver's diverse experiences and passions reflect his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of students and his community.
