BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Olufemi Fadeyibi is the founder of UpliftEducate, a consulting company committed to empowering students through mentoring. He is the author of Donovan’s World: 25 Crucial Lessons Empowering Black and Latino Males, a curriculum that has been purchased by more than 30 schools across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Boston.

Dr. Fadeyibi has served as a principal and assistant principal in suburban and urban school settings. His greatest joy, however, was his work as an English teacher, serving students in some of the most at need schools in inner city Philadelphia. He earned all three degrees from Temple University, including a bachelor’s in English and education, a master’s in urban education, and a doctorate in organizational leadership and policy studies. Guided by research, lived experience, and faith, Dr. Fadeyibi is committed to closing gaps in educational outcomes and attainment for Black and Latino students.
