BIOGRAPHY

Randy Moore is a passionate advocate for underserved and underrepresented communities. His diverse professional experience spans adolescent and adult pedagogy, corporate, non-profit, philanthropic, and educational leadership roles. He currently serves as Foundation President for Clayton, Dubilier, & Rice—a leading global private equity firm, where he is responsible for developing and executing its philanthropic strategy and investments to create equity though employment opportunity for underserved communities in NYC and the UK. He formerly served as Chief Operating Officer of COOP Careers, an alumni-led, national nonprofit organization with a mission to help First Generation college graduates overcome un/underemployment through digital skills and peer connections. Prior to COOP, Randy served as Vice President of Post-Secondary Partnerships & Innovation at HERE to HERE, as well as Senior Advisor to The James and Judith K. Dimon Foundation. He also had the unique opportunity of serving as Founding Site Director for Year Up Arizona in Phoenix, as well as serving on the launch team of CUNY’s newest institution, Guttman Community College, where he led first-year student success and partnerships. Randy is a proud New Yorker, graduated from Wilberforce University (HBCU), and earned a master’s in Bilingual/ENL Education from Adelphi University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Leadership & Innovation in the Postsecondary Context at Arizona State University. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and a Board member of the Solon E. Summerfield Foundation. When it comes to serving underserved (and often underestimated) talent, Randy makes reference to the eloquent words of author, Chinua Achebe, “One of the truest signs of integrity is its blunt refusal to be compromised.”
