BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Steve Corbett is the Chief Executive Officer of Audubon Schools, a growing network of high-demand public charter schools in Louisiana known for rigorous academics, arts-integrated instruction, and whole-child development. As CEO, he leads the network’s strategic vision, organizational growth, and operational sustainability, overseeing multiple campuses and guiding expansion efforts that have increased access while maintaining strong academic outcomes and financial health.

Dr. Corbett began his career as an educator and instructional leader and has spent more than two decades building and leading schools within complex public education systems. Prior to becoming CEO, he served in school-based leadership roles, including as a principal and founding school leader.

He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curricular and Educational Leadership from Northeastern University, along with advanced degrees in educational leadership and adolescent education, and completed executive-level training in education finance at Georgetown University. He also holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Corbett is driven by a belief that strong institutions create lasting opportunity for students and communities. He views the Pahara Fellowship as an opportunity to learn alongside peers navigating growth, complexity, and moral leadership, and to further strengthen his capacity to lead enduring public education organizations.
